In an attempt to extend supply through the holidays, Apple instituted a new policy on Thursday limiting iPhone purchase to two per customer, reports InformationWeek. The policy, exclusive to Apple retail locations and not applicable online or in AT&T stores, also precludes the use of cash to buy the devices, which have sold 1.4 million units thus far. Only credit or debit will be accepted, a move intended to curb unauthorized resale.
