Apple will indeed host a media event on Jan. 26 in San Francisco, Fox News reported Wednesday. The event is related to "the mobility space," Fox said.

The Fox report confirmed a previous story by the Financial Times. Speculation is rampant that Apple will unveil its long-awaited tablet device either at the event or sometime after.
