A Clean Slate
In the tablet world, Apple reigns. And until the Android platform becomes more user-friendly and ubiquitous, it appears the landscape in this sect of this industry will remain unchanged. These were just some of the view expressed in yesterday's CEA Line Shows panel, Tabula Rosa: Tablets and apps.
The panel was moderated by Seth Porges, senior editor at Maxim Magazine and featured participants, including Matt Buchanan, editor, Gizmodo; Glenn Derene, senior technology editor, Popular Mechanics; Ross Rubin, executive director, NPD Group; and Joanna Stern, a technology reviewer.
The panelists generally agreed that the Android platform seriously lacks an intuitive interface as well as the number of apps it needs to compete against Apple.
