Apple Looks to Boost Smart Home Efforts with Latest Hire
It’s pretty rare when Apple doesn’t completely knock a category out of the water, but when it comes to smart home products, the company is lagging behind its competition.
The solution? A new hire dedicated to revamping its efforts.
Sam Jadallah joins the ranks of Apple after acting as CEO of the startup, Otto. The company that produced a $700 smartlock with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi has since shut down after just four short months in business. Additionally though, Jadallah’s resume includes an impressive 12-year role as a corporate vice president at Microsoft.
