Apple Not Worried About iPhone Shortage, Analysts Say
Because of high demand due to new features and its lowered price, Apple’s 3G iPhone is expected to be a huge seller when it is released July 11. But the sky-high demand doesn’t have the company worried about shortages, at least according to several analysts.
AppleInsider.com reported Wednesday that analysts from both Lehman Brothers and Piper Jaffray believe Apple will have “ample” stock of the iPhones to meet initial demand. There is expected, however, to be less supply available of the iPod Touch devices.
