Apple Earnings Surge Again With $3 Billion Profit
Not even a fourth-generation iPhone left in a bar could stop the Apple juggernaut.
Apple posted a quarterly profit of $3.07 billion, a number which, according to Reuters, was significantly higher than analyst expectations. The figure represented a 90 percent jump from the $1.62 billion profit posted at the same time last year.
Apple posted revenue of $13.5 billion in the quarter, as the company sold just under 3 million Mac computers, 8.75 million iPhones and 0.89 million iPods.
