Apple Sells Three Million iPads in Three Days
Apple said Monday that it has sold three million iPads in the first three days of pre-order availability for the iPad Mini and fourth-generation full-sized iPad.
The company did not break down how much it sold of each version of the device.
"Customers around the world love the new iPad mini and fourth generation iPad," Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, said in a statement. "We set a new launch weekend record and practically sold out of iPad minis. We're working hard to build more quickly to meet the incredible demand."
