Apple Stores Opening Earlier
Apple has announced that its Apple Retail Stores will now open up to two hours earlier., a move designed to handle demand for the new 3G iPhone. According to AppleInsider.com, the new hours will be accompanied by hiring of new employees.
“To accommodate demand for iPhone 3G, all Apple Retail Stores will now open at 8:00 a.m. every day but Sunday,” the company said on its availability page.
The site also reported that Apple has slightly changed its rule about only selling the devices to customers who wait in line at the store. Now, customers who line up can pick up their iPhone later.
