Apple to Hold NYC Product Event October 30
Perhaps showing a willingness to break outside of its Cupertino-based shell, Apple will hold an event somewhere other than the Golden State for the second time this year. The world’s most valuable company will hold a special product event in New York City at 10 a.m. on October 30, according to an event listing on its website. It’ll take place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House.
This marks the first event in New York City since the company announced a digital textbook service back in 2012. However, this marks the second time in 2018 that Apple has ventured beyond Apple Park. In March, the company held an education event in Chicago where the company unveiled an entry-level iPad and new education software.
At the event, according to a Bloomberg report, it’s expected that Apple will unveil refreshed versions of its iPad and MacBook laptop lineup.
