Report: Apple Tablet Coming Next Year
Apple's long-awaited tablet device will finally make its debut early next year, AppleInsider.com reported last week.
The site, citing sources familiar with Apple's "internal affairs," reported that the device has overcome years of setbacks and is set for introduction in the first quarter of 2010. The 3G device will be 10 inches and resemble a large iPod Touch.
The report also said that CEO Steve Jobs has been supervising the project, "from his home, office and hospital beds." It also cited sources stating that Apple is talking with Verizon Wireless, rather than iPhone partner AT&T, to provide service.
