As for more general trends/news that came out of the NRF Big Show, held at the Javits Center in New York last month, the message to retail was clear: Excite your customers any way you can.
“The clear message at the show is the fact that the retail landscape is at the beginning of dramatic changes here in the U.S.,” began John Robson, a freelance journalist who covers retailing for several publications. “And if you’re not sensitive to that, and if you’re not aware of that in your approach to retail today, you’re missing out on an opportunity to move your business to the next level.”
