"The Shack" Calls For Signs
As RadioShack's "Netogether" event gets underway in New York, San Francisco and nationwide Thursday, the company is proposing a unique way to change its signage as it undergoes a major rebranding to "The Shack."
The company launched an effort on Facebook this week in which it suggested users make their own "sign" for the Shack. Customers are encouraged to cut out the word "The," and then take pictures of themselves holding it up next to the word "Shack" in the RadioShack sign.
The company has posted some examples, which double as commercials, on its Facebook page.
