If one needed proof that the CE industry is bursting at the seams with bold, creative startups and head-turning new products from veteran vendors. Here are some of the coolest things we saw on the CES Unveiled 2014 show floor.
• LG Electronics showed its amazing new Ultra HD models, including the 98UB900, a 98-inch set retailing for $39,999; and its 77-inch OLED TV, the 77EG9800 ($24,999), which LG reps said is the only large-screen OLED currently on the market. The company also displayed its 21:9 curved UltraWide Monitor, which brings the curved HDTV option to the home computing experience. In the wearables category, LG demonstrated the latest iteration of its G Watch (currently selling for $299 on Google Play), which offers 4GB of storage and monitors the user’s heart rate. www.lg.com/us
