At International CES last week, Best Buy introduced the second edition of its Blue Label line of notebook computers, featuring products from Toshiba, Dell, and Sony. The laptops will be available Jan. 17.
The line, for which prices start at $899.99, feature the debut of Netgear's new Push2TV adapter, a product that connects to a TV's HDMI port in order to enable easy connectivity between TV and computer. Intel developed the technology and that company's CEO, Paul Otellini, touted it in his keynote address at CES Thursday.
"Our customers are expressing a real desire for connectivity because they’re more reliant than ever on their computers, and they want to be able to easily move content from these machines to other hardware in their homes,” Jason Bonfig, Best Buy's vice president of computers, said in a statement.
