AT&T this week announced that it will try selling wireless laptops in its own retail stores in two cities. The move was announced at the CTIA show in Las Vegas, the AP reported.
The carrier will offer the products at its stores in Atlanta and Philadelphia, but the offers will be slightly different. Atlanta customers will be offered netbooks for $50 when they sign up for certain wireless broadband plans. This offer is not good in Philadelphia, where AT&T does not offer wireless broadband service.
In both cities, AT&T will offer such products as the Lenovo X200.
