Audio Advice Acquires Security Company
The North Carolina-based audio/video provider Audio Advice announced Monday that it has acquired the security installation firm Premier Security, and as a result will now offer a new suite of services. Additionally, the firm announced an executive shuffle.
The combined company is “now positioned to deliver complete, high-quality home technology systems incredibly fast,” company founder Leon Shaw said in a statement issued by Audio Advice. Under the company’s new structure, Shaw will assume the title of chairman of the board, while Scott Newnam, previously as investor and board member, will now be president and CEO.
The partnership of Shaw and Newnam was the subject of a CustomRetailer feature earlier this year.
