Citing a desire to "improve the listening experience on any audio device," Audyssey said at the IFA show in Germany last week that it seeks to extend its audio technologies into a wider variety of CE devices.
Audyssey plans to make its technology available in smartphones, televisions, set-top boxes, PCs, headphones, sound bars and audio docks, the company said.
“When Audyssey started, the listening experience was still linked to speakers in the home and our company developed the world’s first method that a consumer could use to correct acoustical problems,” Chris Kyriakakis, Audyssey’s CTO and founder, said as part of the announcement.
