Back Office Streamlined Install
D-Tools' answer is to streamline both the retailer's decision-making process and the use of its software package.
Few retailers are willing to entrust their current sales people with estimating custom installation project costs, so D-Tools plans to help retail management to set up specific custom installation packages based on their merchandise mix and business strategy. "We take the responsibility to build accurate proposals and we put it onto the management side."
D-Tools is also developing an accessory engine to assist the add-on sale. "Our software will automatically draw schematics, but even if it wasn't install product, based on the exact system, you can actually create an automatic wire schematic," Stone said. "The accessory engine would ask for a good-better-best wire choice."
