Baldwin Leaves CEDIA
CEDIA said Monday that Utz Baldwin has departed his position as CEO. The organization did not announce a replacement, but said that chief operating officer Don Gilpin "will assume a more active role."
“CEDIA would like to thank Utz for his contributions as CEO, president, and volunteer in addition to his strategic vision of the Association’s future," Chairman Randy Stearns said as part of the announcement. "CEDIA wishes Utz the greatest success in his future endeavors.”
Baldwin was named CEDIA's first-ever CEO in November of 2008. The founder of AD Systems, he had previously served as CEDIA's chairman of the board.
