B&O Wins Luxury Award
Bang & Olufsen received a prestigious honor this week, as the Luxury Institute ranked it the most luxurious brand in both its audio and video surveys.
The survey, which the New York-based institute calls the Luxury Brand Status Index, surveyed 1,400 Americans with an average income of $341,000 and net worth of $3.9 million. B&O became the first brand in the history of the survey to win both the audio and video categories. The institute said B&O won because “their reputation is unsurpassed,” and they have “great technology and superior sounds.” Bose and Bowers and Wilkins finished second and third in the survey, respectively. See here for a full list of the top 30 brands in the survey.
