Barnes and Noble Debuts Touchscreen Nook
Barnes and Noble Tuesday announced its long-awaited new version of the Nook e-reader, which features a touchscreen for the first time. The Nook Simple Touch Reader will retail for $139 when it arrives June 10.
The new e-reader is six inches and is still marketed as a "Reader's Tablet."
"We set out to design the easiest-to-use, most optimized, dedicated reading device ever created and accomplished it with the All-New NOOK," William Lynch, Chief Executive Officer of Barnes & Noble, said as part of the announcement.
