Barnes & Noble Unveils Nook Tablet
Barnes & Noble Monday announced the release of their much anticipated Nook Tablet along with updates and price reductions to the Nook Color and Simple Touch. The announcement came at a press event in New York.
William Lynch, CEO, formally announced the release of the Nook Tablet. The new tablet boasts many unique features and specifications. The 7" tablet has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and weighs less than 1 pound.
It also has an IPS LG display, the lowest available reflection and glare which enables many viewing angles and offers 9 hours of video on a single charge. The tablet supports 1080p video, has 16GB of storage and a SD slot capable of holding a 32GB card, and free WiFi in Barnes & Noble stores.
