Best Buy Calls Apple TV Survey "Hypothetical"
Executives at Best Buy, who earlier this week released a survey that asked questions about a new Apple TV, are now saying that the survey was "hypothetical.
According to a report on Wired magazine's Gadget Lab blog, a Best Buy spokesperson characterized the survey, when asked, as "a routine offer effectiveness survey conducted by one of Best Buy’s research partners. Any brand reference was hypothetical."
The online survey, as was originally reported by The Verge, asked customers how interested they would be in an Apple-made TV, running iOS, with a price point of $1,499.
