Best Buy has announced a change of the titles of several of its top executives, putting a newly constituted Enterprise Leadership Team in charge of operations in various regions of the world, Dow Jones Newswires reported.
The company announced that executive vice president of customer operating groups Mike Vitelli and executive vice president of retail channel management Shari Ballard have both been promoted to the position of President, Americas, with Vitelli assuming oversight of the Canadian market and Ballard the Mexican market. Both executives will retain all of their current U.S. duties.
Best Buy Europe CEO Scott Wheway will maintain his leadership of the company's joint venture with Carphone Warehouse in Great Britain, while Kal Patel will hold the title President, Asia, with oversight of China and Turkey. And Sean Skelly will oversee the company's international Web strategy.
