Best Buy Hits a Billion in Recycled Electronics
Best Buy announced last week that it now recycled one billion pounds in electronics, in the six years since it launched its recycling program.
The company also said it hopes to recycle two billion more pounds by 2020.
“Best Buy is an industry leader in helping consumers to recycle their old electronics,” Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton said while attending the milestone ceremony. “Their efforts are good for Minnesota’s environment and consumers. I thank Best Buy for their outstanding leadership and for their continuing commitment to responsible environmental stewardship.”
