Best Buy Launches Campaign For Veterans
Best Buy has announced that it is once again working with Fisher House to provide electronics products to soldiers receiving medical care and their families. The campaign, which will kick off Memorial Day, entails marketing, signage, and in-store appeals for donations.
“Without computers, Internet access, and even televisions, service members and their families can feel isolated and forgotten during an extremely stressful time,” the Fisher House Foundation’s President, David A. Coker, said as part of the announcement. “The help from Best Buy, its vendors and customers is vital to helping them all have a more normal day-to-day experience.”
The Fisher House Foundation was runs “comfort homes” on the grounds of military and veterans’ affairs hospitals throughout the U.S., where they provide support to the patients’ families.
