Best Buy is looking to take over a former Circuit City location in Tuscaloosa, Ala., which would mark the chain's first-ever store in Western Alabama, the Tuscaloosa News reported Wednesday.

Employees at other Best Buy stores in the state have been told that the Tuscaloosa store will open in time for the holidays, the paper said.
