Report: Best Buy Cutting Back on CDs, DVDs
How long Best Buy make room for the ebooks, tablets and other new products that it plans to showcase this holiday season? According to a report today, it plans to cut back on its stock of CDs and DVDs.
According to AOL's Daily Finance, Best Buy plans to cut back on that type of media, with video games taking up the space along with netbooks, tablets and other such products.
CEO Brian Dunn, in last week's Best Buy earnings call, promised a "store reset" prior to the holidays, with a "reorganization" of DVDs and CDs to make room for other products.
