Best Buy Plans Tablet Central
Best Buy said Thursday that it will showcase the numerous tablet devices available in a new online and in-store department called Tablet Central.
The location will include Apple's iPad 2, the Motorola Xoom, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the BlackBerry Playbook and more. Tablet Central will begin appearing in July.
“Our goal is to convert that enthusiasm into a significant share of a projected $12 billion market for Best Buy in 2011,” president of computing Wendy Fritz said in a statement. The new program was announced during Best Buy's Investor and Analyst Day Thursday in Minneapolis.
