Best Buy Looking at E-Bikes
Best Buy is reportedly looking at entering a new product category- E-bikes. The bikes, which resemble traditional bicycles but include electric power assists, will begin appearing in some West Coast Best Buy stores later this spring as part of a pilot program, a company spokeswoman told Bicycle Retailer and Industry News.
The chain will carry six models, from Currie Technologies, ranging in price from $499 to $2,000, as well as a pair of electronic scooters. Ultra Motor will also contribute brands to the program.
