Best Buy Reveals Geek Squad Summer Academy Dates
Best Buy said Wednesday that it is kicking off a 100-day tour for the Geek Squad Summer Academy, with which the company plans to enroll 4,000 young people this summer. The academy, now in its fourth year, will visit 27 cities across 19 states and show young people how gadgets work.
The academy was originally targeted at girls only, but boys are now welcome as well.
“Imagine a high-energy CSI team for tech devices, and you’ll have a sense of the experience we try to create for these students,” said Moira Hardek, founder and manager of Geek Squad Summer Academy, said as part of the announcement.
