Best Buy has apologized for a delivery snafu that prevented some orders from arriving in time for Christmas.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the retail giant apologized for the mixup, which stemmed from a larger-than-expected number of customers taking advantage of the company's Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts. Best Buy had sent notices to some customers prior to Christmas informing them that their orders were canceled.
The company said the problem affected less than one percent of Black Friday weekend orders. The company offered gift cards to some of the affected customers.
