Best Buy Ups Small Business Focus
In a bid to increase its market share in the small business sector, Best Buy has begun stocking such items as routers, IP phones, and other professional grade merchandise in its stores, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday. The items will be in all of its U.S. stores by the end of the year, the company said.
The move, the Journal said, was part of Best Buy’s plan called Best Buy For Business, which caters towards customers from both small and medium-sized businesses. The merchandise will be part of the “Professional Series” brand, and will also include laser printers, speakerphones, and “more rugged” laptops for business travelers.
Best Buy also plans to eventually establish special Best Buy for Business desks in their stores.
