Best Buy Urges Check-In For Boys and Girls Club
Best Buy announced a charity campaign for the holidays Tuesday that will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of America. For every mobile Facebook check-in at Best Buy, the company will donate $2 to the Boys and Girls Club, up to $250,000.
While Best Buy has worked with the Boys and Girls Clubs for years, this is the first time Best Buy has participated in a Facebook Check In For Charity program.
"At Best Buy, we believe that part of the holiday spirit is giving back to those around us," Brian J. Dunn, CEO of Best Buy, said in a statement. "That's why this year we are offering our customers an easy way to support the Boys & Girls Club of America, simply check-in to Best Buy on Facebook when you visit one of our stores and we'll donate $2."
