Best Buy Online Traffic Plunges
While Best Buy remains the #4 retail Web site in rankings released by the Web site Todd Sullivan's ValuePlays, the retailer's site dropped from 2.53 percent in February to 2.04 percent in March, out of the "Retail 500" sites.
Amazon, Walmart and Target's Web sites remain the top three from month to month, with Amazon increasing its market share lead to 13.05 percent. However, in March both JC Penney and Sears saw their numbers rise to within percentage points of Best Buy's market share.
Dell came in tenth with 1.49 percent, while Costco was 20th with 0.73 percent.
