
Germany-based headphone and microphone manufacturer beyerdynamic has made three key hires and announced two promotions in wake of the expansion of its Farmingdale, N.Y. office. They are: Maureen Chowdhury, Marketing Manager; Angela Lodico, Sales & Marketing Coordinator; Laura Marrin, Online Sales Manager; Nicole Gregory, Technical Applications Specialist; and Marc Greck, Operations Manager.

Maureen Chowdhury
These personnel moves were made, according to the announcement, to expand the company’s reach and to build a stronger platform for its North American presence. Maureen Chowdhury brings expertise in project management, product launches and marketing development. With over eight years of marketing experience, she has served as the Creative Services Operations Manager for Altice USA and Creative Services Project Manager for ESPN. Chowdhury holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in marketing from Adelphi University. In her role, she will oversee marketing programs, public relations, social media development and trade show support.

Angela Lodico
Angela Lodico joins beyerdynamic with 15 years of marketing and events experience. She previously served as the Marketing Assistant at Fairfield Properties, Marketing Specialist at EtQ and Marketing Associate at Burmax, and has a Master of Business Administration from Dowling College. Her responsibilities will include managing logistics for trade shows and coordinating sales and business programs, initiatives and partnerships.

Laura Marrin
Laura Marrin joins beyerdynamic following a six-year tenure at Canon USA. She has more than eight years of ecommerce sales and public relations experience, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature, communication and psychology from State University of New York College at Geneseo. Marrin will oversee online sales activities working with field sales managers, affiliate marketing, and e-commerce B2B and B2C sales activities.

Nicole Gregory
Nicole Gregory was promoted from her previous role. She joined beyerdynamic over two years ago as an intern and was then hired as a Sales Support Specialist. She holds an Associate degree in Music from Middlesex County College and a Bachelor’s in Business Management, with a concentration in audio recording technology from Five Towns College. As Technical Applications Specialist, she will provide technical support and product training for all divisions, working with dealers, sales, representatives and end users.

Marc Greck
Marc Greck was promoted from Customer Service Manager to his new position. He joined beyerdynamic over five years ago as a Warehouse Manager, and brings previous experience in management, product fulfillment, and business operations. Greck received vocational training in audio engineering and a Bachelor’s in Business from Five Towns College. In his new role he will oversee logistical processes, order processing, inventory control, and quality and efficiency for the company’s North American warehouse.
