Blockbuster Friday announced that it will up is CE offerings, by selling a netbook from Archos in its stores. The Archos 10 netbook will be available in 1,000 Blockbuster stores, and allow users to access Blockbuster's offerings.
"Blockbuster strives to provide consumers with convenient access to media entertainment when and where they want it," the company's vice president, Joanne DeLorenzo, said as part of the announcement. "Enhancing our consumer electronics offerings with an affordably priced netbook that allows customers to access our online rental, retail and download services, whether they're at home or on the road, is a natural fit."
The company will sell the Archos 10, which runs Windows XP, for $299.99.
