While it has closed some stores in the past year and taken some steps to move into the streaming-video realm, Blockbuster, Inc., still sees a future in a brick-and-mortar model. That’s according to an analysis published Wednesday in the Los Angeles Times.
The company is also planning to revamp many of its existing stores, while adding more rental and download kiosks. Blockbuster will also continue its rent-by-mail business as well as downloads.
Blockbuster earlier this year made an attempt, later dropped, to purchase Circuit City.
