Blockbuster this week took another step towards becoming a CE retailer, announcing that it will carry more gaming hardware and software in its stores, the AP reported. The move covers consoles from Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony, as well as games from all three.
The move into gaming comes as Blockbuster is attempting a more than $1 billion purchase of Circuit City, and as the chain has begun testing a new concept store in the Dallas area that bears more than a striking resemblance to Best Buy.
