Bosch’s New Refrigerator Line Extends Freshness and Minimizes Waste
Bosch home appliances just announced its freestanding French Door Bottom Mount refrigerator collection. This new line takes into account three major categories consumers look for in a refrigerator: design, freshness and organization.
“Bosch has always believed quality product innovations can truly enhance everyday life, and this relentless commitment has helped us change expectations of what a major appliance—from the dishwasher to a cooktop—can do,” explained Anja Prescher, Director of Brand Marketing at Bosch home appliances. “Similarly, we believe consumers should expect more from their refrigerator and our new freestanding French Door Bottom Mount refrigeration collection delivers on this notion. The new line is truly refrigeration, reinvented.”
The finger proof, stainless steel refrigerator mimics the look of a built-in model with its 24-inch cavity sitting at counter-depth height. The bottom door extends to the length of the floor adding to the seamless integration into a kitchen space.
To help combat food waste, the French Door Bottom Mount collection exhibits a unique four-point FarmFresh System with VitaFreshPro, the industry’s first automatic temperature and humidity control drawer. This new technology uses pre-programed freshness settings to properly control the temperature and humidity levels for specific foods, extending their shelf life up to three times longer than Bosch refrigerators without it.
Additionally, all French Door Bottom Mount units use Home Connect to notify consumers if a door is left open or if there are any other issues that need attention. All of this information is relayed via smartphone, and users can control and monitor their refrigerators at any time from their device.
The collection will debut at the International Builder Show in Las Vegas from Feb. 19-21, and will become available for purchase midyear.
