Putting into motion a long-held succession plan, Best Buy has named Brian Dunn its new CEO, replacing the retiring Brad Anderson. Dunn will take over the top job in June at the nation's largest CE retailer.
Anderson replaced the company's founder, Richard Schulze, in 2002 and had been CEO ever since; he oversaw the period of the company's greatest growth. Dunn was president and chief operating officer prior to Wednesday's announcement.
