The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has appointed Brian Moon as its new vice president of sales and business development for CES. He had been vice president of international sales since 2014 and previously served as CTA’s national accounts manager from 2003-09.
According to Gary Shapiro, CTA president and CEO, Moon’s responsibilities will encompass CES and all of its branded events, with a mandate to drive growth and industry engagement for the tech event. EVP/CES Karen Chupka adds in the announcement that Moon also brings extensive international sales experience to the position.
In addition to two tenures with CTA, Moon served as vice president of sales, convention and allied membership with the National Restaurant Association for five years; and manager, industry relations and exhibits at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
He was graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Communications and Marketing.
