We are looking to add members. When things get tough and dealers need the infrastructure services we provide, this is a great opportunity for them to find some of those services they need to survive. I’m not talking about deals, I’m talking about the retail financing, health insurance, property and casualty insurance, all the things you need to run a business that dealers everywhere ought to be looking to reduce expenses on. Our strongest programs are not the programs with manufacturers but our core infrastructure programs.
Jim Ristow, vice president, consumer electronics, HES: At our Summit in March, we will roll out PARA education pinpointed on techniques to weather the storm. We’ll also roll out our members’ online Internet initiative, as well as being much more targeted in our consultative message. They will help to counsel members in all aspects of business including inventory management, insurance, attachment sales, etc.
Our alliance with the PRO Group we see bearing fruit in ’09, with consolidation of vendor support leading to even better programming for our joint memberships.
