A remarkable home theater project in Pennsylvania has brought together the talents of several individuals as their combined efforts have resulted in a home theater that will actually save power and money.
The project is the brainchild of HTSA’s executive director Richard Glikes, who felt that, “People want to purchase. However, the current economic environment is saying—you shouldn’t buy—and we are saying that if you install a solar panel home theater, you can buy without the guilt and have a great home theater experience. That is exactly what we did and what HTSA members need to convey to their customers.”
Glikes spearheaded the joint operation between Jon Robbins, of Hi-Fi House in Broomall, Pa., and Paul Finley, of Nolen Builders of King of Prussia, Pa. Said Finley, “When Jon came to me, I knew that a space in one of our existing model homes was the perfect spot for a retrofit project such as this. We had a seamless theater within three weeks; now that’s what I call communication, commitment and teamwork.”
