Canon Releases EOS M10 Digital Camera for the “Social Media Generation”
Rather quietly, Canon U.S.A. launched a new addition to its EOS M-Series line of digital cameras. The EOS M10 is a compact camera that offers the ability to swap out lenses—a function that will be useful for mobile photographers looking to lighten their load while still taking professional-grade pictures.
The EOS M10 comes with a new retractable EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens, which shortens and locks into a compact size when not it use.
Canon designed the EOS M10 with today’s younger generation of photographers—rather selfie-takers—in mind. The EOS M10’s three-inch touch panel LCD screen tilts up to 180-degrees to provide selfie-takers with a good view of the photo they’re trying to capture. And a Creative Assist mode makes it easy to adjust settings and add effects such as brightness, background blur, vividness of color, contrast, warmth, and other filter effects. A Self Portrait mode will also adjust the camera effects to enhance skin smoothness and brightness.
