Capitol Sales Revamps Web Site, Adds Sherwood
“We’re always looking to add forward-looking-technology lines and products that offer ways to stream media such as Netboxx, which synthesizes traditional A/V electronics and the realities of the way content is now being delivered,” said Kussard. “It’s ‘green,’ very user-friendly and has everything the A/V receiver buyer is looking for. The Sherwood line is attractive to our retail customers, and it has all the hooks in the Newcastle range for installers.”
Kussard also provided an update on the Capitol Learning Institute. The program now encompasses regional outreach programs and monthly training at the company’s Minnesota headquarters and there is Internet-based training in development that will take the form of webinars conducted in conjunction with vendor partners.
He added that Capitol is launching with lighting control supplier Lutron a two-day RadioRA 2 “blast training” event next month in Minneapolis, and that event will migrate to Kansas City, Milwaukee, Omaha and Columbus in the ensuing months.
