Catalyst Debuts New Cases for Apple Products at CES
Although the latest suite of Apple products is supposedly the most durable yet, it’s always wise to invest in a good case for an added layer of protection. Catalyst has just introduced a whole suite of new cases for the original AirPods, AirPods Pro, the iPhone 11 series, and the 10.2" iPad at CES 2020. For the AirPods Pro, Catalyst added three new additions: the standard Waterproof Case ($30), the Premium Edition Waterproof Case ($35), and the Slim AirPods Pro Case ($20). For the original AirPods, Catalyst added five new case styles: Minimalist ($20), Ring Clip ($25), Keyring ($25), Lanyard ($25), and Standing ($25). With the exception of the Slim AirPods Pro Case, all of the styles will be available in Stealth Black, Flame Red, and the newest color rendition, Midnight Blue. The Slim AirPods Pro Case will have six color options: Stealth Black, Army Green, Mint Green, Lilac, Neon Blue, Neon Pink, and Neon Yellow. Catalyst cases are developed with high-end silicone offering fashion, functionality, and most importantly, protection.
The same degree of high-performance can be found in the $90 Waterproof Cases for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Available in Stealth Black and Flame Red, these slim everyday cases provide a barrier from water, snow, dirt, and dust without sacrificing acoustical performance. Catalyst’s patented True Sound Acoustic Technology and rotating mute switch can be found in all three iPhone 11 cases.
Last but not least, the 10.2” iPad got its own waterproof Catalyst case with an IP68 waterproof rating for $170. The impact-ready case features external grippy rubber, extra-large ports, an integrator screen protector, a hard-coated optical lens, and acoustic membranes. The stylish case comes in Stealth Black, Army Green, and Flame Red and makes the perfect companion in a messy kitchen, dusty workshop, or on a sandy beach.
“Every year, we add nearly a dozen new products and accessories to our portfolio that further the innovation and design of Catalyst products. In our 10th year of business, as we’ve grown into a global leader in our space, we wanted to be mindful not to lose sight of the culture that’s helped build the company,” said Catalyst CEO June Lai, one of Dealerscope's Powerful Women in Consumer Technology for 2019. “Catalyst was inspired by adventure, rooted in fun and frankly quite a bit of humor. After 10 years, our well-known Catalyst cases receive the highest marks for design, function, performance and style. Taking part in the video production and introducing our very own Catalyst Life Coach to our audiences; shows off elements of fun and adventure that go into the Catalystcreative process every day. That said, we’re also excited to share with customers the latest products on the world stage at CES. The new AirPods and AirPods Pro cases, featuring a variety of styles for protection, function and personalization, are at the center of our showcase this year.”
