CE Week Wraps Up in New York
CE Week 2015 concluded Thursday after three jam-packed days of interactive exhibits, engaging conference sessions and live press events. The event covered everything from connected cars to high-res audio, robots to 3D printing, smart home solutions to smart money, digital health to wearable tech.
The largest consumer electronics (CE) event in New York City, CE Week brought together government officials to celebrate the city’s young student innovators, local designer Chris March of Project Runway to prove wearable tech can be chic, and rising “techfluencers” from the getgeeked community who competed to be the next star YouTube product reviewer. Over the course of the three days, there were hundreds of products on display and more than 130 tech industry leaders who participated in more than 30 conference sessions, attracting thousands of media and CE industry professionals from across the nation.
“CE Week was a tremendous success across the board – featuring compelling product launches, dynamic discussions and quality networking,” Martin Porter, executive producer of CE Week, said as part of the announcement. “This week illustrated the energy and excitement that the tech industry brings to New York City, to consumers worldwide and to the global economy.”
