CEA: Consumer Confidence Rising
The Consumer Electronics Association said Thursday that consumer confidence is rising both the overall economy and the tech sector specifically in the month of March.
The overall CEA Index of Consumer Expectations (ICE) rose 4.2 points this month, with the CEA Index of Consumer Technology Expectations (ICTE) rising 2.5 points.
"Sentiment rose this month as consumers continue to benefit from improving wealth effects. Equity prices are up over four percent in the last month and the housing market continues to improve," Shawn DuBravac of CEA said as part of the announcement.
