CEA Draws a Crowd to Capitol Hill
The Consumer Electronics Association Tuesday held its second annual CES on the Hill event at Eastern Market on Capitol Hill in Washington, drawing a large crowd of Congressional and lobbying staffers, as well as other D.C. professionals.
CEA did not have official attendance figures available, but spokeswoman Laurie Ann Phillips placed the crowd in the hundreds and indeed, the venue appeared more crowded than at last year's event.
Exhibitors included Audiovox, Best Buy, Ford, Google, HTC, Microsoft, Motorola, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Research in Motion, Samsung, Sony and several others. Most of the exhibitors showed products that they had earlier debuted at International CES in January.
